Moxie Falls
located in Moxie Gore (picture left) is a 30 minute drive from
your cabin with a one mile hike once you reach the parking area.
The falls have a main vertical drop of about 100 feet. This is
one of the highest waterfalls in Maine.
Houston Brook Falls in Pleasant Ridge (not shown) is only a ten minute drive from your cabin with a short hike to the falls. The falls consist of an upper set of falls with 5 short drops over folded rocks and a lower fall of about 30 feet into Wyman Lake.
Autumn in the
Upper Kennebec Valley is a time of beauty with colors seeming to
explode from the mountains. Many one day scenic drives can be
taken; starting right from your cabin in Bingham.
